REAL LIFE

There are heroes everywhere, at least if you read the newspapers or watch the news, you can see heroes acting everyday. This is the true story of a man named John Zephy who was born and raised in San Diego, California. When he was young, he was always playing football with his brothers or alone, he couldn't be away from the ball. He was an ordinary person who dreamed to become a professional football player. He played very well, all the neighborhood loved him, and one day he received an invitation to play in the biggest football team of the city. Very excited, he accepted. Then one night five months after he started practice with the team, John was driving to see his girlfriend to her house and on the way he fell asleep and rolled his car. It was a terrible accident that touched everyone in the neighborhood. The doctors told his parents he would be paralyzed for life and and that he wouldn't be able to play football anymore. But John didn't give up. He wanted to continue doing what he always loved, so he study technical football director and now a days he's the coach of the same team he used to play. John is a very loved and appreciated person, who don't give up to the things he loves and that fights till the end. He is a real hero. And there are so many stories like this one, stories that everybody should know and learn about these persons that move on with their life even when life gets very hard, they still fight for what they love and turn their dreams into reality. Those stories inspire and help a lot of people, those persons are real heros.

STEPHANIE'S STORY

Once upon a time, it was a little girl called Stephanie. She was very friendly, but she had one particular best friend, her dog. She called him Toby. He was incredibly big and strong, the whole neighborhood was afraid of him, except her. Stephanie always lived alone, her parents died when she was little and she never had brothers. But one day like any other, something happened. Something totally unbelievable and hard to explain. She was dressed as a princess walking back from a costume party to her house, when suddenly she began to feel that someone was following her. Worried, Stephanie began to move more quickly to try to get home as soon as possible. But suddenly, a man's voice yelled: Stephanie! Wait!
She turned and saw a prince who ran toward her. He told her he would accompany her home because it was too dangerous to walk at that hour of the night in the neighborhood that was completely dark. And he also told her that she was to be careful because there was a dog living in those streets that was very violent and could hurt her. So the prince accompanied her all the way home. But before they arrived, she asked him to see that dog that was so feared. The prince agreed. A street before Stephanie's house, they found the dog. She thought that no dog could be so violent and fierce as the prince described it, so she slowly approached to him. First, the dog tried to attack her, but then she, sure of herself, began to speak until the dog stay calm. The prince did not understand what was happening, no one had been able to control that dog, ever. But it was different with her. And when the light of the moon lit up, the dog and Stephanie looked each other creating an unbelievable connection between them, a connection that would last forever. Nobody understood that dog like her, and that was why she decided to take him home, becoming then her best friend, the only person who remained a lifetime with her. And he protected her, like no one had ever done.
